  1. The Dingo is a Wild dog found only in
  2. Australia, with a shoulder height of 24cm.
  3. Probably introduced by Aboriginal settlers
  4. thousands of years ago, it was the only large
  5. carnivorous animal found in Australia by the
  6. first European clonists.
  7. It has large, erect ears, a wolf-like head,
  8. and long legs, and is usually a yellowish 
  9. red colour, with white markings.
  10. A nocturnal hunter, it prays on small 
  11. animals and often kills livestock.
